It seems Firefox is gaining ground on Internet Explorer, more and more people are finding out how much better Firefox is, and it’s only going to get worse for Microsoft.
The up and coming browser has been downloaded one billion times since 2004, that averages out to over 16 million per month. it’s now said to have almost one third of the Internet browser market.
After finally agreeing to allow users to choose what browser will be installed when setting up Windows 7, in Europe anyway, Firefox should gain users quite fast.
The newest version of Firefox v3.5.1 is faster than ever at starting up, most of the time Internet Explorer is so sluggish I can go and make a cup of coffee while waiting for it to load, and that’s without opening saved tabs.
